The last thing spring break should be is stressful. Simply tell me where you want to go and what your family loves to do, and as your travel advisor, I'll take care of the rest!
While countries around the world begin to finally reopen for tourism, many travelers are planning for their next adventure. As your travel advisor, it’s a practice I always encourage. That’s why I rounded up a list of destinations to consider for spring break 2022 that you and your family will love!
CARIBBEAN: ST. BARTS & ARUBA
1.Gustavia Harbour | 2. Jet Ski Rental | 3. Ritz-Carlton Yacht Deck Rendering
Picking the Caribbean for spring break is a classic choice, and these islands are some of the most luxurious options. St. Barts is famous for luxury shopping, show-stopping French cuisine, and the Bucket Regatta. It’s also an excellent destination for families—especially those with older children. Lounge on one of the islands 14 beaches, or for a more high-energy activity, rent a couple of jet skis and head out to the Gustavia harbor.
Aruba is known for its tranquil atmosphere and white sand beaches. However, its capital city of Oranjestad is also the first stop on a nine-day cruise hosted by The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection. This cruise line is family-friendly, but what sets it apart is the commitment to luxury. Guests should expect the same standard of service and amenities as any land-based Ritz property—from spacious suites to specially curated cuisine. Highlights of this journey include stops in the San Blas Islands of Panama and Cartagena, Colombia.
CABO SAN LUCAS & PUERTO VALLARTA

Heading south of the border presents spring breakers with a multitude of options. Cabo San Lucas has been a premier destination for decades. With a collection of luxury resorts, there’s plenty of on-site activities to keep the kiddos entertained. For the adults, Cabo boasts some of the world’s best deep-sea fishing. Where else can you pull a spectacular blue marlin straight from the water?
Located on Mexico’s Pacific coast, Puerto Vallarta is another family-friendly resort town known for its beaches and water sports. Jetski, windsurf, and even parasail at the famous Playa de los Muertos, or the much-beloved Playa Palmares. Kids will also love Dolphin Discovery, where different programs will let you swim with both dolphins and sea lions.
Travel Insurance: A Peace of Mind
In many cases, airfare, hotel reservations, tours, and cruises are non-refundable—either up-front or within a specific time frame before your travel date. Should unforeseen circumstances force you to postpone or cut your vacation short, trip insurance can recoup some or all of those expenses.
It would help if you considered the cost of your trip, what situations you’re looking to cover, and how much you’re willing to spend. Cheaper plans sometimes have a price cap. If the value of your vacation exceeds the cap, consider upgrading. There’s also a variety of policies to cover different circumstances.
As your travel advisor, I'm here to answer any questions you may have about finding a policy, but always remember to know the specifics of what you’re buying. While 'cancel for any reason' policies can be tempting, be aware that they might not cover as much as a more expensive plan.
Until your next adventure, stay safe & healthy!
